For as long as I can remember I’ve loved to colour my hair. You name it – blonde, red, black, blue the list goes on, but I always go back to pink. Yes, pink hair don’t care!
In honour of breast cancer awareness month, I was gifted a little pink bundle of joy from Crazy Color. The pack contained two semi-permanent colours (one pastel and one vivid pink), a pink shampoo and a temporary colour spray. I couldn’t wait to use them.
I had previously coloured my hair blue, one of those whims you get on a Monday afternoon when you’re not at work! It had faded and even though I loved the mix of silver, blue and purple tones it needed brightening up.
What did I do?
Having had a bit of a think about the best way of using the products I made my decision. I was going with the Candy Floss on the top layers and the Pinkissimo underneath and down the lengths.
Now, I’m not the neatest person when I colour my hair, but I do like to play around whilst I’m doing it. I pulled some of the darker Pinkissimo through some of the shorter layers to add more colour. I left it on my hair for around 30 minutes and then rinsed it off, I was so happy with the results.
After colouring and when needing to wash my hair I used the Crazy Color pink shampoo. This is a lot lighter than the usual shampoos, but it does add a hint of pink and keeps the colour vibrant. I also mixed a bit of the dye into my conditioner and left it for at least 10 minutes for a bit of a top up, which also worked a treat!
For a bit of texture and colour the colour spray was used, this is great for nights out when you just want to pep your hair up a bit and add an extra dimension.
Would I use Crazy Color products again? I am a huge fan of their temporary dyes. They have such a fab range of colours to choose from. As for the shampoo, I found this great to just keep the colour topped up and the spray I would definitely use again, especially on a night out.
